>3.652 tage< : the track a day originated after my 10-year-old djs jubilee. from the mood of the eve, there originated thus the acoustics-percussion beat with emitter surfaces. >zeitfenster< : this track with miguel aka electric gloss, to a friend from portugal produced. he has visited me for two days in frankfurt, meanwhile we were diligent in the studio. the sound capes remind me of a typical summer thunderstorm. >eureka< : this number has something incredible for me. a kind of space-electro with quite futuristic melody. if somewhat is inspired by the film barbarella. unambiguously one of my favourites on the album.

after a long journey by night, andrewvelt returns with >micodom macadam ep< - quite old school, >ridiculus< is flirting with a bassline, fighter cries and an acide touch. >boonty< is electronics diy with rythmic percussions, >the cabine anglaise< is more a cinematic tech-house track.

i dont think i know, or heard of, anyone who share the same obsession in searching obscure disco records like kool dj dust (real name daniel savio). call him at any given time and he is in some flee market or second hand shop on the look-out for records. he even got an apartment just for his collection.
we talked about the idea of re-releasing >un-googable< music, old stuff that is not only very hard to find, but also so good that re-issueing it is an actual cultural necessity. dust tossed around with a few ideas and finally these three songs made the cut. we are very happy with them!

the most favourite of italian producers, bottin, returns with an old project. tinpong is a collaboration between bottin and swiss singer joy freypong. these tasty masters were just gathering dust on an old hard disc in venice but when we heard them we just had to get these gems out there.
the first of the tinpong material is a cover version of a duran duran classic. set dials to 1982, >new religion< is of course one of the standout tracks from the classic >rio< album.

ifm is the project of the unstoppable marcello napoletano and franceso schito and is dedicated to their friend ilario corsano, who passed away. marcello napoletano needs no further introduction - like no one else he made his name with an old school inspired house sound. and this new ifm release is another fine example of this: drummachines, analog synths and the sound aesthetics of the early house days is what the >journey through the sound ep< is all about. true house music

based in buenos aires, toomy disco (real name mariano iliuta) represents another success story in the rise of bedroom electronica in recent years. the full album and the tracks here on age of the jaguar ep were recorded entirely at marianos home with relatively basic computer software and, while he is still only 22 years old, the resulting music is every bit as compelling as contemporaneous efforts from like-minded electronic artists daft punk, mylo, mstrkrft, alan braxe and tensnake. age of the jaguar helps to cement toomys status as a leading light in the next generation.
